If you're like most women living with diabetes, you know that exercising, eating right and managing your stress will help you manage your diabetes. The experts at Green Mountain at Fox Run, a Vermont wellness retreat exclusively for women, they've found that knowing what to do isn't the problem for people with diabetes – it's figuring out how to put it all together -- and maintain your daily life.
Green Mountain's Living Well week blends its healthy lifestyle “how-to” program, which has been helping women at Green Mountain for 37 years, with the diabetes expertise of leaders from the renowned Joslin Diabetes Center, affiliated with Harvard Medical School.
After the jump, two sessions coming up in November 2008 and February 2009.

I will definitely keep in touch with Green Mountain - as both my parents have Type 2 diabetes and I'd love them to attend this. Their plight was the impetus for me to start my non-profit Spa4Diabetes to educate others about preventing and managing type 2 implementing spa lifestyle choices.
